We operate a diverse range of retail activities serving an ever growing market including Hardware, Home Improvements, Plant and Van Hire, Garden Centre, Sign Shop, and Self-Storage.
Over the past few months, we've received numerous heartfelt comments as it has served not only as a café, but also as a vibrant social space to meet, catch up with friends, and enjoy good food served by our great team.
While we hope to revive the Red Brick in the future, the current challenges in the hospitality industry pose significant obstacles. However, with the right leadership, we remain open to the possibility of building a new team and welcoming you again into our Café. Alternatively, we welcome the idea of leasing the space to someone who could reimagine and evolve it into something new.

Last year was an exciting year for Jansvans as we celebrated 50 years in business.
It was in October 1972 from humble beginnings that Jan & Effie Nicolson established the business from
the basement of their home at Viewfield Road Portree.
